 Talk about Chris and Logan's visit during Spring Break to
include the USS NC, Fort Fisher Museum, and of course the
beaches.
We had visitors from Vienna for nearly a week. Chris and Logan came a
visiting for Spring Break. We went to the battleship, USS North Carolina,
where Logan could crawl around and through the big guns; we visited the
newly Fort Fisher Museum, where we saw and touched canons (canons were climbed,
lectures were heard, and ramparts were studied.) Of course, we hit most of the
beaches, including Carolina Beach, Kure, and Fort Fisher. We got there from the
ferry. We ate our fill at the local restaurants, including Chinese, Latino, and
good ole Southern cooking places, like 'Locals".
Sadly, they left on Friday until next year. Sigh!
