Bob and Ann had an opportunity to visit their friends, Don and Priscilla on S/V Chautauqua. They had sailed from Marsh Harbour, Abacos to Portimão Portugal via Bermuda and the Azores. We had missed them while we were in the Bahamas and we were anxious to hear all about their Atlantic crossing. So we took the easy way: by airplane. This page and its links summarize our visit with Chautuagua in Algarve, Portugal.

Portimão: Chautuaqua's base of operation at the marina
Lagos: Our hotel, the cork store, restaurants, and narrow streets
Vila do Bispo: Fortelezas, 'End of the World', cliffs, sick Ann
Aljezur: Moor era fortelezas, beaches, cliffs, and windfarms
Monchique/Silves: Cork forests, forest fire, mountains, pigs for Ann
Other Neat Areas: Sigtsee-ing and boat stuff
