"I had to take care of Grandpa because he was scared to
death" said Lilli after she and Grandpa survived the AquaDuck, the
shipboard water slide. she was right! It was blowing that night with
winds up to 40 kts apparent so the climb up to the launch point was a
bit tense. The 'Duck was enclosed so the wind was not an issue once we
were launched. But the launch was something else. Pretty kewl.

We spent part of yesterday at the Disney leased
island of Castaway Cay. The kids did the island while we just strolled
the paths and then headed back to the boat. A fresh tropical
disturbance was gaining momentum in the Bahamas. An afternoon rain cut
the festivities short and soon the boat was heading for Canaveral. We
left the boat with a bit of frustration, hopped in the car, and drove 11
hours back to ILM. A great time with the family, a good time on the
boat, but not as good as our first Disney cruise.

So another season closes. Soon we will be preparing for the next
season's trip. It should be exciting. We will see.
