23 Sep 2007, Moony is back!, 38 46.500 N/ 076 33.790 W

We were waiting at the arrival gate at BWI airport in Baltimore waiting for the crew of SV Moony. The came through the gate; we waved; they marched to baggage claim like two zombies. They did not see us. Next we got on the escalator with them and they did not see us. Finally, they recognized us. They were so tired! We were all so glad to see each other.
We headed to Anchorage Marina where both SV Moony and Jule III were still moored. All was needed was a weather window so that we could head for Herring Bay, Tracy's Creek. Jule III would stop at one of their favorite local marinas, Shipwright Harbour while Moony would head for HHN for a haul-out. We left at 0700 and arrived at 1445 after a nice motor sail (more motor than sail) down the Chesapeake. We will spend the next couple of weeks working on the boats, sightseeing, and doing ARC work. When the tropics calm down a bit (and after the Annapolis Boat Show, of course), we will head for Wilmington NC.
However, we took a distraction and we all traveled with the younger Todd's to Amish country in Lancaster County, PA. Wolfgang had a keen interest in exploring this area. Bob was not feeling too well but everyone else had a great time. The guys visited mills, rural roads, and general stores while the 'girls' shopped. Stereotypical but true. But now back to boat and real work.
