 We haven't done as much practicing as
we promised. Some of our 'experiments' were comical
but we didn't break anything. It is now September and
we are running out of time. We visited Karen and Jim
aboard S/V Wanderer and got some tips on out island
Bahama cruising. They recently returned from a voyage to Puerto Rico and
are settling back into the 'normal' life.
They swear by a 'look' bucket (bucket with a clear
bottom for underwater viewing) so we are going to build
us one.
Our current plans are to move aboard on 27 September,
get a short haul on the 3rd, then head for Annapolis for
the boat show. After the show and the SSCA gathering,
we will head for Vero Beach (barring hurricanes).
