The Salisbury Cathedral has been the dominant landmark of
this county for centuries. It holds one of the 12 original copies of the Magna Carta; the burial place of many nobelman; the Cathederal of the Bishop of Salisbury. It is a sight
that I will not soon forget. We spent several hours there and hope to come back someday.
The Waterburys and Todds then headed to Avebury, the forerunner of
Stonehenge.IWe all wandered in separate groups to check the sights and the village, Very peaceful for the the kids and adults alike.
Last stop was Portsmouth, the main military port on the south coat of
England. We spent most of the day exploring the facility with lots of pictures, where
only a few were included here. We were all tired at the end of the day.
