12 Aug 2018, Land Voyage to Atlantic Canada, 45 15.846 N/ 066 03.708 W

We swapped a Jule cruise to Nova Scotia for a small land-voyage. The good news is that Lilli wants to go with Grandma, Grandpa, and Mattie Kay. We had pretty good weather up to Canada. First day got us to Sturbridge MA where we had a comfortable night in a La Quinta where they welcome pets. Lilli took over one of the beds with her stuffed animals and electronic gadgets. The rest of us were relegated to the other bed. Mattie was not happy.
Next day's schedule had us at a Hampton Inn in Saint John, New Brunswick. There we were not so happy; and we let them know; but they didn't care much. Next morning, we left early to catch the Saint John-Digby ferry. Comfort was blessing the voyage again. The ferry, MV Fundy Rose, was nearly identical to the ferry we took last year from NS to PEI. Nice trip. Mattie got to stay in the car where she was very satisfied.

12 Aug 2018, Crossing the Bay of Fundy, 44 39.582 N/ 065 45.408 W

Crossing the Fundy was a pleasant ride. Lilli and Ann took seats in the forward observation area while Bob explored the boat. It was a proper passenger ship providing every comfort and safety features. Two hours we were in the town of Digby in Nova Scotia.
The town is neat, clean, and friendly. There is a marina next to the commercial wharf which welcomes transients. Hmmm, maybe next year. Bob explored the town while Ann and Lilli headed for the local Walmart for 'stuff'. Before we knew it, it was time to head to Shelburne via Yarmouth.
