Once we got back into England, we had
to conquer the mriad of trains, expresses, an 'Tube' routes to meet up with Steve
Waterworth at the end of the line in Richmond. The congestion tax discourages folks from driving into most of London so it is a common practive to pick up the Underground outside the tax zone. Steve picked us and drove us to his family (Angela, Hanna, Keira, Lottie, ,Phoebe) for a quick 'Hi' and then to our AirbnB in Salisbury.
Next day Steve Hanna took us back to Richmond and then became our tour guide Merry ole London. We visited so many place which include Big Ben, Churchills statue, Trafalgar Square, Grenwich Observatory (one foot in the East and one in the West), the Naval Dockyard, London Tower, Tower Bridge, and much more. It was hard for this old salt to keep up with these youngsters, but I did.

The next day was based on a request from me (and the late Ann): go see Downton Abbey (Highclere Castle). The next day that was exactly what Steve, Angela, Chris, and I did. I was in 'hog heaven'! Many years ago, Ann pleaded with me to go with her to the first Downton Abbey movie. I protested, but I could tell she really wanted to go. I saw no episodes of Downton but she saw them all. So I said "OK if you pay for ther popcorn and Coke". I loved the movie, bought all of the DVDs; subsequently I bought all the DVDs of anything that came out. She saw everything except the last movie. Sadly, we could not take any pictures of the inside of the castle.
