The boat is ready, we are ready, the weather is ready
(actually not much wind), so we ready the lines and leave Herrington
Harbour North.
It is good to be on the water again. There is no wind, but the seas are
calm and the
hull is clean, so we make good way at 2000 rpm. We pass by Thomas Point
light,
Annapolis, the Bay Bridge, and head for the Patapsco River after we pass
Baltimore
Light to port.

We have been off the water too long. Bob does not do a
very good job
of 'parking' the boat. He misses our slip and points perfectly into the
next one. Problem
is that it is occupied. After much brilliant deck work by Ann, we are
extricated from
the wrong slip and placed into the right one. Glad it was a weekday!
We are going to
have to practice this slip thing (during the weekdays of course).

We left the boat and headed for Wilmington NC to close
up the house for the Spring
and do some cruising in the Bay. Well, we are delayed a bit. Levi
(Husky) was diagnosed
with a tumor on his stern. An operation, followed by a week of
recuperation and
de-stitching delayed us for two weeks. Today we took Gina (Lab) to the
vet where he
discovered that she had a serious infection in her private area. We
have to wait at least
another week for that to clear up. Stay tuned!
